M5 Website Part Two

I have been playing around with the different templates for my website and I want to stick to something clean and simple. So I have put together some fonts and images I am going to incorporate within the layout. What I have noticed however is that they have multiple links just to contact someone. So I will have a Home Link, but the other information like contact information will be located on the page, and possibly with a send a message box as well. As for people to take a look at my work, since I have been posting my manips within my Facebook and Instagram that will be workable links that you will be able to click on and open in a new tab which I will provide. I want to have a small bio about myself and what I do, similar to an artiest statement I suppose. The color schemes will be pink and will feature bow accents hence the name Bowdacious Designs.

These are just some ideas I have been playing around with. I have also been working on things on the actual website.

M3 CD booklet Part 2

My concept for my CD, consumed around the idea of Cocooning. Meaning everything around me is in fact me. Ether it is wrapping yourself in music/lyrics or just stuff in general. I wanted to keep the inner pages 2,7,3,6 simple so they did not  come off as to busy. Within a CD booklet, the the lyrics are at some print you should still be able to read them. When it came to the subtle images throughout the booklet, I made images that fit the song and lyrics at hand. Example: Light On by Eric Balfour "There will be a light on the planet it for you." I decided to go with an image of planet to go hand and hand, while always using my color scheme which is a pink. Now when it comes to the Puppet by Alaska Thunderfuck, I decided to make the lyrics and the song title like they are held up like strings and made a creepy version of a puppet face that fades into the background. Pages 4 and 5, I wanted it to be a poster like image that you would be able to rip out and hang...

Second Collage Assignment "The Color Pink"

(Click to Enlarge) For this second collage, the color I chose was of course pink. I wanted to base it with neon colors after I made a light painting of the name Eric Balfour and it became my base for the rest of the contents and color tints to me collage. In this particular work, I wanted to express myself and what I am made up of. The first one was based around my favorite band in a whole and recycled band shirts, here I wanted to do a digital art. I used Adobe Photo-shop in creating this piece of work. Each image used was altered to the color pink as well as filters to enrich certain textures and words. I added a bow because I used to wear large bows a few years ago thus giving me my name Bowdacious. Which I use on as  my Instagram username. Though instead of just picking a random bow, I went with one that had chevon texture that also goes along with the pink fur. I took an images of my fur boots and also fur cheetah cosmetic trunk. To describe what is all within thi...

Image & Text in Visual Art Third Assignment

I wanted to try my hand at another "flyer" per say. It is more to advertise my work. I think I kept it more on the simpler side this time. I kept the original font I use for Bowdacious, I added my logo saying, "I make the real, into real fake photo-manipulations." I tried not to use many fonts only two and I used the Instagram logo with my username underneath it so people know that is where they can go to look at my work. Followed by my name. For the girl I wanted to keep y mu signature look that I created within my first mixed media assignment with the artificial bratz eye and lips.
